Getting Back Into The Groove

It's been forever since I last did a blog post ( May of last year to be exact ) and I'm still trying to get back into the swings of things. It may take me a while but I do want to come back and start blogging again.

I just have so much things to share with you guys and I'm sure that you guys love those haul posts that I've done in the past so why not bring them back! :) And I was also thinking of doing more product reviews then I did in the past just so I can get the usage out of the products that are just sitting in the drawers and boxes. Lol

So please be patient with me while I get myself back in the groove, you're gonna wish I didn't come back ;) haha just kidding.

Love you all!

Sephora Haul!!

Wow, it's been a long time since the last time I blogged.. I guess you can say I went on a blogging hiatus for a while. But it's 10:43pm and I just had the feeling that I wanted to blog about something so here I am! :)

I don't even know where to begin.. I have bought alot of things over the past 2 months and I want to share with you guys! So I think I will be doing haul posts for a while just because they are the easiest to do and I'm slowly easing myself back into a blogging mood so please be patience with me :) So let me stop rambling and get on with the haul!

This haul is definitely WAY over due because these things were purchased when Sephora had their annual 20% VIB sale.. Opps :)

I've been using the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and it's doing okay for me but I've been wanting to try out De-Slick for a while so when I was at the checkout area I saw there was a deluxe sample size for $15 and I thought it would be a great size to start with without spending too much. Mini Review: I like this better then the All Nighter spray. Enough said lol

I have been hearing great things about the brand Caudalie through the Youtube world so I thought I would try the setting spray and what I noticed about it was the peppermint scent when I opened the lid, I'm not sure if it's a good thing but I'm gonna give it a try and see if it'll beat the Urban Decay setting sprays.

Next item was the most raved about product when it first came out a couple months ago: Dior Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Awakening Blush I'm sure you guys have heard about this amazing product right? Well what's so special about this blush is that when you apply it to your cheeks, it will " magically " self adjust the color to your skin. So what you see in the pan is not the color that you'll get when applied! I thought it was a cool concept just the price tag threw me off but when the 20% coupon appeared, I knew it was mine.

I went for another most raved about product over in Youtube and blogging world and that is: Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation I swatched the foundation at the store and I thought it had a great consistency and it's not too heavy and gives the full coverage but finding my shade was a pain in the butt! I had to go back twice to find the right shade, sometimes the lighting in there isn't that great. lol

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Eyeshadow Palette: Yes, like I need another eyeshadow palette right? Well this one I just couldn't pass up because all the colors in here is something that I would actually use :) By the looks of it, I think I'll really enjoy " Lap Dance " because it's a nice taupe-y color and if you don't know I love my taupes!

It seems like I went a little lip crazy with this haul! :) So all of these were either recommendations from other people or just raved about over the internet so I won't go into too much details at the moment!

From Left to Right: Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien 9205
Too Faced La Creme Lip Cream in I Want Candy
Too Faced La Creme Lip Cream in Spice Spice Baby
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Fig
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment

Well that concludes my haul from Sephora!! :) I hope that you guys enjoyed this and there's plenty more coming because if you haven't heard Target finally opened in Canada!! I'm super happy!!! I think the next blog post will be a Target haul :) Anyways hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!!

Drugstore Haul! ft. Loreal, Essie, Covergirl & More!

Hello my lovelies! I am back with another haul post and I think it will be the last one for a while so definitely look forward to product reviews, makeup looks and monthly favorites! =) Anyways enough of the chitchat, let's get right into it!

** WARNING! This will be a very lengthy post!!! You have been warned!! **

So I was looking through some flyers and came across Shoppers ( it's a Canadian version of like Walgreens in the states ) and they had some awesome deals going on so I had to go check it out.

The first area I went to was Loreal and their Colour Riche lip products were on sale for $6.99  ( regularly priced at $13.49 I believe ) so I had to pick up some most raved about Color Riche Lip Caresse Shine Stain. People have been saying that these are comparable to the YSL Lip Stain but at a budget friendly price =) The shades that I managed to pick up was 188 Coral Tattoo, 189 Pink Rebellion and 190 Endless Red. I can't wait to try these babies out and compare them to the YSL ones I have.

Next I was wanting a new mascara for some odd reason so when I saw some Loreal ones on sale I thought why not. The one that I picked up was the Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in the waterproof formula because waterproof formulas are the only ones that will actually hold the curl for a long period of time, and this mascara has gotten good reviews on it and I love mascaras that gives lengths just cause I need it lol!

So then I moved onto the Covergirl section and I'm pretty sure you guys can guess what I picked up right? If you guessed Covergirl Stay Fabulous Outlast 3 in 1 Foundation then you can give yourself a pat on the back hehe! Of course I purchased this because of all the great reviews from different blogs and Youtube videos. I have already swatched it on my hands and I think I might have gotten a shade too dark so I'll have to head back to the store and exchange for another shade but the formula feels great, the coverage seems great but I'll see if it works with my skin later.

As you guys know that I'm kind of a nail polish addict so I was browsing that section and I saw a Essie stand so I thought it was the new Resort collection but it was their Spring collection but the thing that got me was that this collection was on sale for $6 each and the regular price was $11.99 I believe so I grabbed the last three remaining ones without thinking. The shades that I got was Madison Hue Ave, Bond With Whomever & Avenue Maintain.

Next I needed to pick up some nose strips and my favorite are the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. I haven't used one in ages and I took the opportunity last night to use it and it felt so good and I got alot of my whiteheads out ( yeah the strip looked pretty gross.. lol ) I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that is looking for something like this. And I also managed to pick up Maybelline The Flash Clean Makeup Removing Lotion cause I'm always on the hunt for a good but affordable makeup remover and I've been hearing good stuff about this line so why not give it a try.

This was something new that I noticed and I haven't heard much reviews on this line but it seems to be okay so I thought I would give it a try and it's the Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream I don't recall trying anything from Olay ( they are best known for products for mature skin and such ) so I thought this would be a good start!

I was watching one of Missglamorazzi 's videos ( I can't remember which one it was lol ) but she was raving about these new lip balms and I thought it was really cute so I just had to pick it up! It's the Nivea Lip Butter in the Vanilla & Macadamia scent and I'm not really a fan of vanilla scented products but when I smelt this, it just smelt like chocolate so I was quite happy about that!

On another day I headed to Walmart to pick up some essentials and not thinking I would go to the cosmetics area but sadly I did =( but I'm glad cause if I didn't I wouldn't have discovered Real Techniques Makeup Brushes By Samantha Chapman! I was really happy when I saw these because I thought I would never get a chance to get my hands on them, now I can see if it's really worth the hype! I picked up the set for face brushes and I might go back for the eye brushes set if these ones are good =)

I will have to say that this was kind of an impulse buy but seriously it was too cute to pass up! I first saw it on Thatsheart 's instagram and then I saw it in store, if you've guessed Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine then you are correct! I'm not the best person to describe scents but I'll give it a try.
The original Daisy from the permanent line is more of a floral and musky scent where as Daisy Sunshine is more on the fruity side yet there's some hints of floral. So if you're a fan of the original then I would definitely recommend you go and smell this and possibly purchase it as well because it is a limited edition.

Last but not least I picked this up on a whim and the packaging definitely suckered me in, it's the Bath&Body Works Lemon Mint Leaf Candle and if you guys know me then you know that I'm a sucker for anything that has citrus in it and the color of the candle definitely got me too! This candle will make my room have the scent of freshness which I like hehe

Well if you have read till here then I would like to thank you guys for taking the time to read all of this! I hope that you guys enjoyed this and I'll definitely try to get some product review posts up on these items soon! =) And I want to know what have you guys bought recently from the drugstore? =) Score any great deals?

Collective Haul ft. MAC, Lancome, Butter London & Drugstore

Hello! It really has been a while since I last sat down to type up a blog post.. I will have to admit that I did lose my " interest " in blogging during my time of absence but I will definitely try my hardest to get back into the game! Anyways enough of me blabbing, let's move on to the haul!

counter-clock wise:  Lancome Palette in 385 Plum Elegance, MAC Pearlmatte Powder in Flatter Me, MAC Blush in Cream Soda & MAC Blush in Prom Princess

I hope that you guys were able to pick up one or two or more items from the MAC Archie collection because this collection is by far the cutest collection released yet this year! =) I was really hoping that I could have gotten my hands on some of the lipsticks but by the time I got to a MAC counter everything was sold out already ( I went a day after the collection was released ) But I was glad to get my hands on the blushes and a pearlmatte face powder.

I also bought a Lancome Blush Subtil Palette because I was a shopping mood at the time and I remember seeing Michelle Phan using it in her tutorials and I was interested in it so when I saw it at a local Lancome counter, I knew I wanted to get my hands on it. And it's definitely travel friendly! Why bring 3 items when you only have to bring one item? =)

Swatches ( From left to right ): Prom Princess, Plum Elegance

Note! I haven't swatched " Cream Soda " or " Flatter Me " because I haven't had the chance to try them out yet! But I will say that I have been loving " Prom Princess " it's a really pigmentated blush so you only need a little bit to give you that " I've just been outside " rosy cheeks ( I'm talking about when it's the winter time kind of outside hahaha!! )

Now you guys know that I'm a nail polish addict so of course with spring coming up pretty soon, companies are coming out with such cute pastel colors so when I saw Butter London's Sweetie Shop collection I knew I had to get my hands on some!

The two shades that I went for were Kerfuffle ( Pink-y Coral ) and Molly Coddled ( Lavender ), there were three or four other shades but I felt I had familiar colors in my collection already. The other shade is from their permanent collection which is Artful Dodger ( Teal ) and it just looked like a really pretty shade.

FYI: I don't really follow the trends when it comes to nail polish like during the winter season, you should wear darker shades but I would totally rock the hot pink shade just to brighten up my mood =)

Last but not least, as some of you would know if you read my past blog posts I was in Vegas during the last week of February! ( Yup, I finally popped my Vegas cherry! LOL ) and I didn't really go crazy when it came to makeup, it's kind of a good thing but at the same time I wish I had pick up more things.

I was on the hunt for the Loreal Color Caresse Lip Shine Stain and I finally found them but it didn't seem that much cheaper then I would buy at home so I only got one in " Rose On And On " Next item that I wanted was Essie's " Mint Candy Apple " ( as if I didn't have enough minty shades nail polish ) and I got my hands on it! I found it weird that where I live, no where had this shade. Next is Essie's Apricot Cuticle Oil and I think this is a new item that they released recently I believe and so far it's working out good I will let you know my thoughts in a future blog post.

The last two items are more for skin and when I heard good reviews on the Maybelline Clean Express line I knew I wanted to get my hands on something. I thought the makeup remover was a good item to start with and this was pretty affordable ( I think it was around $7 USD ) and lastly I purchased Neutrogena Oil-Free Ance Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser; I can't remember who was raving about this but I'm always on the look out for good cleanser to try out and I love anything with a citrus scent and of course the pink packaging! ( I'm just kidding about the pink packaging.. )

Well that's the end of this post! I hope that you guys enjoyed this and if you have tried any of these products, let me know how you feel about them!! =D

Important News!!

Well it's been a long time since I have been on here.. I know I'm such a bad blogger :( but I will certainly try my best to update as much as possible! But anyways I'm here to share with you some news that I recently read on the internet and that is Google Reader is shutting down!!

What does that mean you ask? Well there's two things!

- If you're a blogger, you will lose all your followers through the Google Friend Connect.

- If you follow any blogs, you will lose the links and you'll have to find another way to follow them.

Yes, this is such a big headache but it seems like this news is being true so if you don't want to lose any blogs that you're following or lose any followers then I would suggest you go onto this website: http://blog.bloglovin.com/ It'll tell you how to import blogs and keep in touch with each other!!

Well that's all that I have to share with you guys at the moment! If you guys still want to follow my blog/keep in touch then I have the link for you guys to continue that! I would love to see you guys over there so just click the button below! =) I will talk to you guys later!

In " Naked " News..

It's been a while since I last went on here but I have been keeping myself busy with work and going to the gym and today is my day off so I thought I would blog a little bit! So I haven't really done any makeup hauls lately just cause I'm actually waiting to when I go to the U.S ( Las Vegas to be exact! ) to purchase more makeup items because you all know that everything is cheaper there and you can get awesome deals especially with drugstore items such as Buy One, Get One 50% or even Buy One, Get One FREE!  I'm sure that I'll be doing a haul post for when I come back so look out for that! =) But for now enjoy this really tiny haul!

I'm sure from the title you can tell what I'm going to be sharing with you.. Come on take a guess! If you guessed Urban Decay Basics Palette then give yourself a round of applause! =D

Yes, I finally got my hands on this baby! When it first came out at the end of December or beginning of January, I didn't really see the need to get this palette just because I had so many neutrals in my collection. But when my sister mentioned that she wanted to get her hands on it ( she's not the makeup type of girl, while not yet ;] ) I thought I would go look for it. So of course the Sephora that was near my house was sold out and I didn't want to travel to the other Sephora in town because it was getting cold out.

And during that time I read and watch several reviews on this palette and I had convinced myself that I wanted this palette. (  The power of the blogging world and Youtube! Sigh lol! ) So just yesterday me and my sister went to a different mall with a Sephora there, I decided to check it out and they had a stand filled with this palette so I was definitely a happy camper =D

Isn't is pretty?! =) Now let's see how it fits in with the family!

It seems like it will fit right in! =) I think I will be done with buying more neutral shades palettes for right now! And I will be doing a review on this palette and possibly adding the other two in there as well so definitely stay tune for that! ;)

Anyways that's all that I have to share and I hope you guys are having a wonderful week and what are some items you guys hauled recently? =)

My 2012 Favorites! ft. Nail Polish, Skincare, Perfume & Deodorant? ( 2nd Part )

Hello hello! I thought I would share with you guys some of the miscellaneous " beauty " items that I have loved during 2012. So let's get started!

From Left to Right: OPI Sparrow Me The Drama (LE), Essie Muchi Muchi, Essie Cascade Cool (LE), Essie Tart Deco, Essie Pilates Hottie (LE), Essie Turquoise & Caicos, Essie Where's My Chauffeur? (LE), OPI Mermaid's Tears (LE), Ciate Pepperminty

I must say that my nail polish collection has really grown this year and I definitely agree that Essie has taken over my collection. I will say that Essie has really won me over when it comes to their permanent and limited edition collections because the shades that they put out are just beautiful!

What I like about Essie is that their brush isn't too small or too big so you can really get into the small areas that you missed, the formulation of the nail polish is wonderful ( expect there are a few shades that I've had some problems with ) and it's available at the drugstores so it's pretty affordable as well! ( It's even better when you get them on sale! )

As you can see from the picture above it really was a mint green/Tiffany blue kind of year for me! I don't know what it is about the color but I was just really attracted to it and it slowly went over in my clothing but I just really like how it looks on my nails ( in fact, I'm wearing the Ciate one on my nails! ) I haven't found the perfect Tiffany blue yet but when I do I will definitely share with you guys!

From Left to Right: Pond's Cleansing & Exfoliating Towelettes, Biore Warming Anti-Bacterial Cream Cleanser, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray & Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum

Pond's Cleansing & Exfoliating Towelettes: Hhhmm what can I say about this product? Well it's the best makeup remover wipe that I ever tried. I probably went through 5 packages of these within the last year. What I like about them is that it has a smooth side and the other side has little exfoliating beads and it helps to get off the makeup easier then you having to scrub your face until it's red and plus it has the pleasant citrus scent ( I love anything that has a citrus scent! ) And I love it when I find this at Walmart and it comes in a pack of two for $6 or $7? Well worth the money!

Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser: I discovered this back in the beginning of 2012 and I can't remember which Youtube guru was raving about it but I'm glad that I picked it up cause it really helped with clearing up my skin. The warming part felt weird at first cause it felt like something was burning but it goes away after a couple scrubs. After using this, my face would feel nice and clean and smooth which is what I'm looking for, so if you were on the market for something like this then I would totally recommend this.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: I had this in my makeup collection for a while but I only started using it a couple months ago and I like it! This product does help with my makeup staying on for a good 10 hours and what I do is after I applied my foundation and concealer I would spray my face and then after applying everything else I would spray again cause I found that if I sprayed my face once it didn't really make my makeup stay. I would probably say I would recommend this over the MAC Fix+ that is much raved about.

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum: This is probably the only hair " styling " product that I use and I like it! It makes my hair nice and smooth, the serum isn't too thick and it has a nice light scent. With this you only need a little bit of it or else your hair will be oily ( learnt by experience ) and from the picture you can tell that I'm not even half way through the bottle and I had it for 8 months. I also like that this is available at the drugstores for around $6 or $7 but you can get it for $4 when it's on sale.

Secret's Clinical Waterproof Antiperspirant: Yes, you read this right, I'm adding a deodorant in my favorites. I have to say that I'm one of those people that sweat a lot during year round so I knew that I needed something stronger then a regular deodorant so when companies started coming out with " extra strength " I knew I had to check them out. So I did some trial runs for this product and I will say that this is probably my holy grail deodorant because I would apply this around 8am and it lasts ALL DAY cause when I checked my under arms, it wasn't wet and I didn't have the sweat mark on my shirts. This is a little pricey compared to the regular deodorants but it's well worth the money!

From Left to Right: PINK Sunny & Happy Body Mist, Victoria Secret's Bombshell Body Mist & Viva La Juicy Couture Perfume

These are the ones that made me smell nice during the year of 2012! What I like about them is that they have a light scent and it can be a everyday kind of perfume and it's not going to be over-whelming. I will say for the PINK and Victoria Secret ones, you will have to re spray through out the day because the scent will wear off after couple hours.

Well this concludes my second part of my favorites for 2012! I hope you guys enjoyed this and having a wonderful start to 2013 =)
